Dairy Free chocolate gifts

First thing first - chocolate!!

Before my dad found out he was lactose intolerant, it has to be said, he loved loved loved all things creamy and chocolately. I must say, I think his diagnosis was a blessing really and could well have added a lot of years to his life.
He used to go into a cake shop and ask for the creamiest, gooiest cake they had.

Not wanting him to miss out too much on calories and cholestrol, I desperately started searching for some great treats for him.

He discovered he could have dark chocolate bounties, much to his delight, as well as obviously other plain dark chocolate bars. He used to be able to have Bournevilles but I think they then started adding milk.
I also found these great chocolate bars which come in Rice Crackle and Tangerine flavours, from Tesco.

But I really wanted a proper gift. I conducted a big search, and triumphantly found a website called www.alotofchocolate.com

The website is just fantastic offering gluten free, diabetic and dairy-free boxes of chocolates. There are loads of choices and I usually get my dad a proper, boxed selection of truffles in all different flavours. He loves them and they really are a treat for a special occassion, and at £8 approx for a decent sized boxed, they're not as expensive as you might think.
